Niyyats for Umrah Tamattu & Hajj Tamattu

Niyyats
The niyyat will change for certain
individuals as per the following:
• Those performing Hajj for the first time
will mention “Hajjatul Islam” – E.g. “I am performing Tawaaf
(circumambulating) around the Kaaba seven times for Umra
Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
• Those performing Hajj Mustahab or Mansoob
will mention this accordingly – E.g. “I am performing Tawaaf
(circumambulating) around the Kaaba seven times for Umra
Tamattu, for Hajj Mustahab, Wajib Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
• Those performing Hajj or certain acts of
Hajj on behalf of someone else will mention this accordingly –
E.g. “I am performing Tawaaf (circumambulating) around the
Kaaba seven times for Umra Tamattu, for Hajj Mustahab, on
behalf of (name of person) Wajib Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
•
Those who are excused from performing the obligatory acts
which are to be performed after returning from Mina such as:
-
Those who are old and weak or are
ill.
-
Those who fear death due to over
crowding.
-
Ladies who fear they might experience
their menstrual periods and will not be able to perform
their wajibaat after returning from Mina

Those performing these obligatory
acts on behalf of the above mentioned people will make niyyat
as follows:
“I am performing Tawaaf of Hajj (circumambulating) around the
Kaaba seven times for Umra Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam
Muqaddam (in advance), Wajib Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Umrah Tamattu
Ihraam
Ghusl
“ I am performing Ghusl:
-
To wear Ihraam for Umra Tamattu.
-
To enter the boundries of Makkah.
-
To enter the city of Makkah.
-
To enter Masjid Al-Haram.
-
To perform Tawaaf of Khana-e-Kaaba.
Qurbatan Ilallaah”
Salaat for Ihraam
“I am
reciting 2 Rakaat Salaat for Ihraam for Umra Tamattu, for
Hajjatul Islam, Qurbatan Illallah”
Wearing Ihraam
“I am wearing Ihraam for Umra Tamattu, for Hajjatul
Islam, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Tawaaf
“I am performing Tawaaf (circumambulating)
around the Kaaba seven times for Umra Tamattu, for Hajjatul
Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Tawaaf Salaat
“I am reciting 2 Rakaat Salaat of Tawaaf,
for Umra Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam, Wajib Qurbatan Illallah”
Sa'ee
“I am performing Saee between Safa and
Marwa for Umra Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam, Wajib Qurbatan
Ilallaah.”
Taqseer
“I am doing Taqseer for Umra Tamattu, for
Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Hajj Tamattu
Ihraam
“I am wearing Ihraam for Hajj-e-Tamattu,
for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Wuqoof at Arafat
“I am performing Wuqoof (halting) in Arafat
today from Zawaal (just before Dhuhr) to Sunset for Hajj-Tamattu,
for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Wuqoof at Mashar (also known as Muzdalifah)
“I am performing Wuqoof at Mashar, from now
(sunset) until Subhe Sadiq, for Hajj-e-Tamattu, for Hajjatul
Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Ramii of Jamarah-e-Aqabah
“I am striking seven pebbles at Jamarah
Aqabah (the biggest pillar/Shaitaan), for
Hajj-e-Tamattu,
for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Qurbani
“I am giving this Qurbani (sacrifice), for
Hajj Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Taqseer or Halq
“I am doing Halq/Taqseer, for Hajj-e-Tamattu,
for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Tawaaf of Hajj or Tawaaf of Ziyaraat
“I am performing Tawaaf of Hajj (also
called Tawaaf of Ziyarat) , for Hajj Tamattu, for Hajjatul
Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Two Rakaat Tawaaf Salaat
“I am reciting 2 Rakaat Namaaz of Tawaaf,
for Hajj Tamattu, Wajib Qurbatan Illallah”
Saee
“I am doing Saee between Safa and Marwa for
Hajj Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Tawaaf-un-Nisa
“I am performing Tawaaf un-Nisa , for Hajj
Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Two Rakaat Salaat of Tawaaf-un-Nisa
“I am reciting 2 Rakaat Namaaz of Tawaaf-un-Nisa,
for Hajj Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Wuqoof at Mina on the nights of 11th and
12th of Zilhajj
“I am Halting in Mina tonight, for Hajj
Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib, Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
Ramii at the three Jamaraats in Mina-
11th and 12th day of Zilhajj
“I am throwing seven pebbles at Jamarah
Oola/Wusta/Aqabah, for Hajj Tamattu, for Hajjatul Islam Wajib,
Qurbatan Ilallaah.”
