With remembrance, we are sorry to inform you that with the co-ordination
of the Vishav Hindhu Parishad (VHP) the Bajrang Dal and
the RSS, the communal riots have been continued since February, 2002 in
Gujarat State.
The Police and the government are also playing their
suspicious role in these incidents. In these riots the transgression
has been against the Muslims.
Due to these riots more than one Lakh Muslims men, women and children
are compelled to stay in the relief camps. In these camps
some one has lost his dear brother, sister, mother
or dear father and they have been living in the open
having only the sky over and the earth under, on the
blessing and assistance of living Muslims.
The government assistance is given
on papers and not enough to cope with even the basic
needs. The government announcements for the riots effected people
have been limited only up to the Radios, T.V. or the News Papers.
The only target of the police firing is the
Muslims.
With tears in
our eyes, we would like
to inform you the problems of our brothers and
sisters staying in Relief Camps. In the Relief Camps besides the delivery of the young girls, only one pair of dress to put
on, lack of the proper arrangement of bathing and latrines, epidemics have
arisen. The government wishes to drive them out from
the Relief camps by harassing them as it can escape from it responsibility
of reestablishment.
According to the official records our
of 726 killings, 552 are Muslims. In police firing of 170 deaths 93
are Muslims. 298 Darghas. 205 Mosques and 3 Churches are completely
destroyed in these riots. Out of the total damage of 410
Crore Rupees, the damage the Muslims is 400
Crore Rupees.
My pen is helpless to acknowledge you many other things. You are
requested to help our handicapped brothers and sisters in
this holy deed with all your strength.
You are requested to help the helpless Muslims of Gujarat giving
