The Importance of Bravery
'Imam Ali
('a) was standing [unseen to me in the
dream] talking to Prophet Muhammad ('s) whose expression was serious and
thoughtful. His face was handsome, he wore a beard and short moustache and
his black hair fell to almost his shoulders with a slight wave. He ('s)
was standing facing forward [toward Imam Ali ('a)] with his ('s) hands
clasped together in his front in a relaxed position. He was wearing a long
white robe.
Imam Ali
('a) said to him ('s):
“I never thought of
the second [aspect] because with [(indicating) you and me] there
was always two. There was you [the revelation from Allah (swt)] and
there was bravery” [Imam Ali ('a) being bravery].
Then I saw one of Prophet
Muhammad's ('s) hands and one of Imam Ali's ('a) hands [to the forearm,
which were both very strong looking] raised in the sky and heard Imam Ali
('a) say:
“Because we have
three things: Allah, La illaha illala and bravery.” [As the word
bravery was said the two men’s hands clasped one another pointed toward
the sky].
Then Prophet Muhammad
('s) began to walk forward and call “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar,
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Ashadu Allah illaha illala, Ashadu Allah
illaha illala.” [then I woke up and realised he ('s) had been
calling Azhan in sequence with the Azhan being called from the local
Masjid for Salatul Fajr].
[I concluded after talking
with my Mother at Salatul Fajr, that Imam Ali ('a) was telling all us
Muslims to be brave and as long as we acknowledge the relationship between
the Holy Prophet ('s) and Imam Ali ('a) we, the Shiah, will be
victorious].
